Complex interventions: From theory to implementation'
'Realistic Evaluation'
Wednesday the 4th June 2008
Realistic evaluation is an original and innovative method for programme evaluation which takes into account the importance of generative mechanisms and the richness of contexts. In other words: What works for whom in what context? The approach is flexible and can be applied to a broad field of research areas such as health and policy making.
Professor Nick Tilley is an expert in the field and has written extensively on the topic, much with professor Ray Pawson with whom he co-authored the book 'Realistic Evaluation'.
